One cute fall photo!!

Keith always decorates our front porch for the fall. He does such a great job. It was such a beautiful day that I just couldn't resist taking a picture of the kids.

Zayda giving her "scary" pumpkin some lovin'.

One Scary Pumpkin!!

Zayda has been soooo excited to carve a pumpkin this year. Since we had pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, Zayda and Brady really wanted to carve their pumpkins so.........we carved a "SCARY" pumpkin!! Garrett even got into it too. Brady really didn't want to have anything to do with it once he saw what was inside of the pumpkin.

Riding the Tractor

Garrett is obsessed with any kind of lawn mower. He loves our push mower at home and he constantly wants to sit on the riding mower at the lake. This weekend, he rode and rode and rode on the tractor. Then, Mike hooked up the trailer on the mower and Zayda, Garrett and Brady all enjoyed riding in the back. The only problem was that the rest of the adults were too nervous that one of them would stand up so one of us was always chasing behind it. None of them ever did try to get out but atleast if made us feel better to be there.

Hobson's Farm

This past weekend was our last trip to the lake that we will be able to be out on the water. Zayda was able to ski for one last time this summer but not before she made her daddy get in the ice cold water with her. She has a wet suit that she wears that helps keep her warm but her poor daddy just had to grin and bear it. We also took the kids to a place called Hobson's Farm. We went last year and ejoyed it so much that we wanted to go back again this year. It has all kinds of things for the kids to do....... They have a set up of all kinds of farm animals that you can feed. This years animals included billy goats, rabbits, pigs, and miniature horses. Garrett liked feeding the animals as long as his daddy was close by. Brady, our nephew, was also with us and he LOVED the animals.
The farm also had a giant sand box that is filled with corn kernels instead of sand. This was a big hit among all of the kids. Our friends Rick and Cindy also joined in on the fun and they brought their two girls Brittany and Christina with them. Here, Christina has buried Zayda in the corn kernels. Zayda thought she was pretty hot stuff.

They have a huge corn maze that is easily seen from the air. There is a picture of it on their website and it is pretty amazing. Brady wasn't too sure about the maze but he was awfully proud of the ear of corn that he found in the maze.
Garrett just wanted to eat his ear of corn. He just didn't understand why it didn't taste the same as the corn on the cob that he is used to eating.
We also enjoyed a hayride with everyone. Cindy and I posed for a picture together. We spend a lot of time together but never seem to get any pictures of ourselves together. Garrett and I had to get a picture taken again this year. Last year Garrett was only 2 months old when we went to the farm. I had him in a carrier that I wore and he fell asleep on the hayride. He had his head all thrown back but it didn't seem to bother him. It's amazing how much these kiddos all grow in one year. This year he loved the hayride again - but NO SLEEPING!!
The farm also has a huge slide that is made out of PVC pipes. Zayda went down it last year but got much more daring this year with Christina by her side.
We ended the evening at the farm by picking out a pumpkin. Garrett loved climbing on all of the pumpkins. He is truly all boy. He loves getting dirty and is quite the dare devil.

Dad's Night

Zayda goes to Mount Pleasant Christian Church Preschool. This year she is in the Frog's and she will proudly tell you that she is in the "morning class." Every year her school has a Dad's night which is held at the school. This year they had a baseball theme. Zayda and Keith were both so excited to attend. They made a pennant together and it is sooo cute!! They were supposed to wear a jersey, baseball hat, and take a mitt. Zayda decided that she wanted to wear her softball jersey and since Keith didn't have a jersey, he just sported a baseball cap and mitt. This picture was taken right before they left. Gee, they don't look excited at all!!!!!! Ha Ha!!
